On the Errors of TDS in regards to Christianity: Prefacing my paradigm
This is the first post/article in a developing series about the misconceptions pronounced and promulgated by the TDS crew about the Bible, Christianity, and even Judaism. I find this worthwhile for a number of reasons and purposes. Some of the following listed will be from the paradigm of a Christian, or at least kind of Christian (As there are plenty of disagreements among those who could be considered a proper Christian more or less), and from my own perspective. I find it important to preface what I will say within this series with where I ultimately stand on these matters, though I will not necessarily argue from my own position at all times, as arguments and lines of argumentation can come from a number of places and take a number of different routes and forms.
My beliefs and current positions:
I am a Christian who attends a Roman Catholic parish currently, though I believe that the theology and philosophical ideas of the Eastern Orthodox Church are more correct, and therefore superior. This is especially true as it relates to the Ecclesiology of the Church, including the role of the papacy, and the Theological-Philosophical “Essence-Energies distinction” versus Roman Catholic “Divine Simplicity”, IE ADS (Absolute Divine Simplicity). I find the EO view of the papacy to be historically congruent and consistent. I find the Essence-Energies distinction doctrine to be both philosophically superior to RC Divine Simplicity, but also biblically supported. Evidence for this is available in this video on Jay Dyer’s YouTube channel with Dr. David Bradshaw and Fr. Deacon Ananias.
I am also what could be described as a Christian Identitarian (with some necessary nuancing). I believe in Christian Identity history and genealogical dissemination in that I believe:
Christian Identity (also known as Identity Christianity)[1] is an interpretation of Christianity which advocates the belief that only Celtic and Germanic peoples, such as the Anglo-Saxon, Nordic nations, or Aryan people and people of kindred blood, are the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and are therefore the descendants of the ancient Israelites.
The developers of these beliefs were authors who regarded Europeans as the "chosen people"
Adamic people, or at least purely Adamic people, are colloquially called “White” people in the modern day, and in a scientific-anthropological context of times past were called “Caucasians.” This was a new “race” of man, the race of Adam, a new White race distinct from non-Adamic, non-White races.
I do not personally subscribe to Serpent seed theory, though I see where one could possibly derive the theory from, hermeneutically speaking, especially given the rest of the general Christian Identity belief system (partially linguistically and hermeneutically as this theory deals with particular interpretations of phrases and words in the Bible incorporated into a larger narrative context).
I do not personally believe that all non-Whites are innately damned for their genetics or ontological status, but I do believe that Adam was the start of the race of beings that would rule with God, as God’s highest authority after Himself. Not so that Adam’s race would be a harsh tyrant, but a loving master of creation. Just as a father is a loving master of his family and household. Similarly, how King David was a great and just leader over the house of Judah. This ethical principle is expressed here for example: 2 Samuel 23:2-4 NKJV
Adam was, and his people are, the pinnacle of creation.
Adam was, what could be called, Homo Divinus, in the words of John Stott (though I disagree with Stott’s conjecture that Adam was descended from Homo erectus) as opposed to non-Adamic-races we may call Homo Sapiens for convenience, pragmatic sake.
My account and model of Biblical history renders both through logical induction the hunch and impetus to believe that Noah was necessarily Caucasian and the father of the post-Flood “White” race, or at least most of the racial members. And therefore, all the subsequent Hamitic, Semitic, and Japhitic (called “Aryans” in antiquity) peoples are of the same Caucasian/White race (speaking of the unadulterated, non-mixed stock, considering that many of those groups and their subgroups were subsequently mixed with non-Whites in later times to some extent or another). This belief is related to but not directly hinging on Modern Europeans (mostly Western Europeans) being the direct, modern, unadulterated (from non-White mixture) descendants of the Israelites in the Bible.
What are the non-White races exactly? It is not entirely clear from our perspective through and through. At least some, we assume, are an assortment of pre-Adamite races, maybe some/certain ones are partially nephilim in their origin and makeup. And, most of the modern non-White races seem to be largely polygenetic (meaning that modern human races are from a polygenesis), that is, they are mixed with either Whites, non-Whites, or some combination of the two, somewhere down the line. More can be explained in regards to these racial theories at a later time.
I believe in some version of Biblical Infallibility, or Biblical Inerrancy, depending on how these terms are conceptualized and nuanced. The Bible is wholly true and reliable in its meanings, proclamations, and prescriptions. However, any given Bible translation or copy can contain an error or set of errors, such as copyist errors. There lies room for symbolic and esoteric interpretations in some contexts of scripture, but nonetheless, it is all true in its fundamental meaning. I believe in Biblical Literalism where it applies, which can be a tricky task to discern, especially for any given layman no matter their intellectual talents and capacity.
I believe in some version of young earth creationism (I am agnostic as to the specific timelines and events of such a model), as I think it makes the most sense with the Bible and the historical, patristic literature on the topic. Though, maybe certain models I entertain would not be considered within the bounds of YEC, if the timeline matches that of the typical dates given for the existence of Atlantis as according to Plato’s received knowledge. From history.com in an article on Atlantis:
“Plato’s Critias says he heard the story of Atlantis from his grandfather, who had heard it from the Athenian statesman Solon (300 years before Plato’s time), who had learned it from an Egyptian priest, who said it had happened 9,000 years before that.”
Given the above possibilities are true, does this make science wrong and totally bogus? No. But, I think any model of human and supposed pre-human history that is speculating on hundreds of thousands, millions, and billions of years ago hypothesis (and even treating these intellectual meanderings as some sort of hardline scientific discovery) are presumptuous and only considered plausible given the starting point of secularism and unbelief in the first place. There’s nothing wrong with science per se. The fault is with men and their limitations, and often their hubris and other personality flaws.
To summarize my beliefs in bullet points:
Eastern Orthodox Theological leanings
Christian Identity anthropology (minus serpent seed theory, plus pre or non-Adamic races) and history (European Israelitism)
Biblical Infallibility, Inerrancy, and Literalism (with nuance)
Young Earth Creationism (with nuance)
Here are my propositions as to what the reasoning for this series existing is exactly:
Truth is worth pursuing. I will proclaim this as self-evident. In the name of Truth, who we Christians believe to be Jesus Christ himself, The Word and God the ultimate Truth of reality, I hope to bring about more enlightenment than there was prior to this.
Christianity is our heritage, at least to some great extent, whether you fully agree with me or not in regards to my specific views and beliefs.
The truth as it pertains to the relevant topics and inquiries is available to us, and not hard to access necessarily, but still in a sense esoteric to many because of the misinformation surrounding all these things, and the lack of attention to these things in this modern age of secularism and the rise of atheism/agnosticism among the masses of the West, and the disregard for our heritage by our elites. I hope to contribute to bridging this gap in the modern far-right’s knowledge base.

Literally unironically just posted a picture from the book that says Christianity is millions of years old and earth used to have a second moon nibiru that struck earth. And yet again your “argument” (if you can call it that) is WUZ. All so you can maintain some sort of duct tape and paper clip scaffolding in your mind of this foreign religion and avoid cogdis that an intelligent person wouldn’t be able to live with. Legit sad.
